Portfolio Strategy
- Lead annual brand planning for the premium spirits portfolio, with a flagship single malt whisky brand as the primary focus.
- Develop and manage the portfolio architecture across core, premium, and prestige product tiers.
- Define brand positioning, communication priorities, and distinctive brand identity across the portfolio.
- Analyze consumer, category, and competitive trends to develop premiumization, gifting, and luxury growth strategies.
Brand Building, Campaigns & Consumer Activation
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans across digital, social media, PR, influencer marketing, and consumer engagement channels.
- Lead creative and media agencies through briefing, creative development, localization, production, and campaign evaluation.
- Ensure local execution remains consistent with global brand strategy while addressing local market needs.
- Drive premium storytelling through digital campaigns, PR, key opinion leaders, influencers, and experiential marketing.
- Utilize prestige product launches to strengthen overall brand equity and encourage premium trade-up within the portfolio.
- Deliver engaging consumer experiences including tastings, premium events, collaborations, and brand showcases.
Prestige Portfolio Management
- Develop market strategy for ultra-premium and rare product releases, including allocation planning, pricing strategy, and route-to-market.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on allocation planning, pricing frameworks, and annual luxury activation calendars.
- Build relationships with premium hospitality venues, luxury retailers, private client networks, and other high-end partners in collaboration with commercial teams.
Innovation & Product Launches
- Lead innovation, renovation, and new product launch projects across the portfolio.
- Manage launch readiness, including forecasting, supply alignment, marketing investment, and commercial enablement.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations and identify opportunities to improve future launches and portfolio performance.
Global & Regional Collaboration
- Partner closely with global and regional marketing teams to align on brand strategy, innovation, and communications.
- Adapt global marketing assets and guidelines for the local market while maintaining brand consistency.
- Provide local market insights to influence future innovation, communications, and long-term brand strategy.
- Maintain proactive communication with international stakeholders throughout annual planning cycles.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to align brand priorities with commercial objectives.
- Develop brand strategies, assets, and activation plans that support execution across multiple sales channels.
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, pricing strategy, profitability, and marketing investment management.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Work with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure all marketing activities and product communications comply with local regulations.
Governance & Compliance
- Protect brand integrity by ensuring all marketing activities comply with global brand standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee packaging approvals, artwork accuracy, and product master data to ensure consistency and compliance.
Requirements
• 3–7 years in brand management within FMCG, beverages, spirits, luxury, or lifestyle categories.
• Experience in premium/luxury brand storytelling strongly preferred (whisky experience an advantage).
• Proven ability to lead digital-first 360° brand activation and PR/influencer programs.
• Strong capability in managing multi-tier portfolios and aged-statement structures.
• Analytical mindset; able to turn insights into clear actions.
• Effective cross-functional and global/regional stakeholder management.
• Experience managing creative, PR, and media agencies.
